Latest Preview

Previews will be useful and usable, but don't expect usefulness or even usability ;-) The main reason of publishing such preview versions is to get the chance of new developers. So try it out.

The new features are:

• An computer controlled timetable generator is integrated now.
• Support for Java 1.4 was dropped. You have to install Java Runtime Environment jre1.6. Thatwhy we have better performance, smaller download size (pack200), generics and several 'desktop' capabilities.
• The better graphical user interface (GUI) allows you to (CTRL-) click on a subjects room in the subject table and gstpl guides you to this room in the room table.
• Only the object oriented database db4o works. The relational SQL databases like derby will be fully supported, if cayenne 3.0 will release.
